Starting to migrate here from lj like everyone else. I'll fill in some some more soon!

I am an artist, photographer, mother, bookbinder, poet and lover of many things.

I am self employed as a photographer. I primarily shoot weddings and portraits. I enjoy my job quite a bit! I also passionate about other art forms including painting and drawing. I'm learning to paint in Photoshop. I have an affection for bookbinding that I'm working on rekindling. It's going well! I also love to write, especially poetry.

I have three children and I adore them. They are 8, 3 and 2 and probably the most wonderful things in my life.


I also do a lot of gardening. I'm very interested in urban homesteading, and whole, natural foods. I love my local farmer's market and prefer to cook from scratch for my family. I also have severe celiac disease, am lactose intolerant and can't digest animals fats (among other restrictions) so a healthy diet is especially important for me.

My geeky interests are varied as well! I love sci fi and fantasy and attend my local convetions as much as I can. I also like video games even though I don't get to play as much as I would like. I'm far too interested in my kindle and I read as much as I can on it. I am currently watching too much kdrama thanks to Netflix. I also love documentaries and reference books.

Oh goodness what else... I'm pretty much an open book. I'm happy to answer questions and inquiries and always looking to meet new people!
